SBWN June Evening Meeting & Events - Stop the Bleed Interactive Course

Join us on Tuesday, June 3rd, 6 pm at The Savory Palette for an ACS Stop the Bleed Interactive Course with SBWN member Marcy Mullen, MEd Training & Consulting. She will guide use through the three quick techniques to help save a life before someone bleeds out: (1) How to use your hands to apply pressure to a wound; (2) How to pack a wound to control bleeding; (3) How to correctly apply a tourniquet. These skills help you act in an emergency. You can help save someone's life.

Bleeding injuries can happen anywhere. We often see them on TV or in real life. Serious accidents or disasters can cause life-threatening bleeds. Learn how to control bleeding and become an immediate responder. This short presentation is just 30 minutes. Everyone who participates receives a free certificate from the American College of Surgeons.

Food provided by The Savory Palette in Morro Bay is included in meeting fee. Wine, Beer and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase. We hope to see you there for a fun evening of networking and education!
