Exit through the Gift Shop is an amusing, engrossing look at underground art. Banksy, the infamous and shadowy graffiti street artist, directed. It tells the story of Thierry Guetta (Mr. Brainwash), a French immigrant to Los Angeles and his obsession with street art as well as his eventual fame as a street artist himself. The film charts Guetta's constant filmed documentation of his every waking moment. The film premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival on January 24, 2010, and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.
