The focus of the 45-minute workshop, Single Use Plastics 101, is designed to inform and support consumers to reduce their single use plastic consumption.Participants will receive SLO County Citizens’ Climate Education informational documents to supplement their understanding and carry the message home. This will be taught by Kathleen Bond of the SLO County Citizens’ Climate Education (CCE) organization, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. They’re a nonpartisan, nonpolitical grassroots education and advocacy organization empowering people from diverse backgrounds to educate the public, key stakeholders and policymakers to work for effective solutions to the climate emergency.
