The Rotary Club of Morro Bay is partnering with the Grape Leaf Restaurant and Coalesce Book Store and Garden Chapel for a benefit to support the survivors of the devastating earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria. The Morro Bay Club has established a mechanism to fund the Rotary Club of Ankara, Türkiye which is currently leading the aid efforts on the ground. The Ankara Club District 2430 will receive our donations through Rotary International and use the funds exclusively to aid those in the ravaged areas of both Türkiye and Syria. Please join local Rotarians on Tuesday, March 7th from 4:00 to 6:30 pm at Coalesce Book Store located at 845 Main Street in Morro Bay for a benefit and social event. Mediterranean food will be provided by Ibriham Abuhilal, owner of the Grape Leaf across from Coalesce. There is no set charge at attend and donations are accepted at the door.
