“Each year, I am inspired and impressed by the fun, creative ways our wine country businesses show up to support Wine 4 Paws. This year is no different. I can’t wait for local wine enthusiasts and pet-lovers to enjoy all that they have in store, for a great cause!” says Wine 4 Paws organizer Sarah Tomasetti.
As Woods Humane Society braces for what is already a booming baby season on the Central Coast, CEO Emily L’Heureux says that the Wine 4 Paws fundraiser comes at a crucial time. “Wine 4 Paws participants will directly support medical treatments, fostering, and hands-on care for vulnerable puppies and kittens this season. We encourage all animal lovers to check out the map and enjoy wine country in the name of pets in need,” L’Heureux says.

About Wine 4 Paws
Wine 4 Paws began in 2009 with the ingenious idea of blending a weekend of Central Coast wine tasting with helping homeless pets. Since its inception, it has partnered with hundreds of Central Coast wineries, breweries, olive oil producers, restaurants and other businesses to raise more than $700,000 for Woods Humane Society. The event now features more than 75 participating businesses offering wine tasting, wine sales, special events, and more, for one weekend each spring. A portion of all proceeds from the weekend are donated to Woods Humane Society to help the nonprofit care for and find loving homes for up to 3,000 dogs and cats per year.
